Live Life With Flavor Day 2 – Tell Your Children You Love Them Daily

One day, when I am lying on my death bed, I know that the main question going through my mind will be “Did I make a difference in the life of my children?”

Just like any other parent, I want each of my children to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are LOVED!

Are you telling your child you love him or her?

In the 5 Love Languages book the author explains that each person receives love through one or more of the 5 love languages. These are quality time, words of affirmation, touch, acts of service and gifts. Most people, without realizing it, give love to others through the language that they best receive it.

But, sometimes our children don’t have the same love language that we do… So, even though we continually give love to them in our special way, they might not be aware that they are being told they are loved.

I encourage you to find out what your child’s love language is. But above all, I exhort you to TELL them that you love them beyond compare.

To Live Life with Flavor take some time every single day to let your children know that you will always care for them, that you are thankful to have them in your life, and blessed to provide for them.

Pull them close… Turn off all distractions… And tell them individually that there is no one you love the way you love him or her.

To Live Life with Flavor take some time every single day to let your children know that you will always care for them, that you are thankful to have them in your life, and blessed to provide for them.

So, go find your child, and let know you love them! I assure you that bringing this additional dosage of love in your parenting will create a ripple effect of kindness and care, unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Question: What is the love language you use most often with your children? What effect do you think telling them you love them will have with them?
