No mom looks forward to those days!

The kids are moody, you are moody… Finally, when Dad get’s home, he asks how your day went… (deep sigh) What do you say? “It was one of those days!”

I am a POWERFUL woman [and So are You] and I am my own agent of change!

I want to share with you the secret of successfully getting past the grumpiness and bittiness creating tension in your house, to the  joyful and peaceful day that you so desire!

1. How am I doing?: If there is anything I have learned in the last 7 years it is this… I am a POWERFUL woman! It is a power that can be used for good or for bad…

Sometimes without realizing it, we transfer our emotions to our children. They, then take that raw emotion and project it onto their brothers and sisters, which, eventually gets back to us with gusto…

So, when I sense tension starting to trickle through the house, the first thing I do, is look at myself and ask these questions… How am I doing? Could this frustration be a result of how I am feeling internally?

2. Intention myself for peace and joy:  Regardless of who started it, I intentionally choose peace and joy before I address the situation. I have found, if I don’t, I will go in with “guns blazing” and add to the already heightened situation.

3. Set the atmosphere:  Because the children will sense my emotional stance and match it, it is extremely important that I carry as much joy as possible. Only when I am successful at finding peace and joy within myself do I address the situation.

4. Have grace for yourself and for your kids: It took me years to master this technique! It’s easy for me to tell you and it is easy for you to read it; it’s another thing to actually apply this…

Remember to have grace for yourself when you do not succeed! With every success celebrate it with your children!

For every failure, look at how much better it was than the last time! Then, ask your children how you can each do better next time…

If there is nothing else you take away from today, recognize that you are your own agent of change! If you don’t feel like the woman of joy you want to be, then set your heart toward radiating joy, life, and peace in your home.

Question: What are you going to do around the house to become a joy-filled woman?
